Earth hour evening - Caledonian Hotel
Specially designed 'Earth Hour' cocktails that will be served alongside 'green' themed nibbles in the Caley Bar on the evening of 27 March. In addition, a specially-prepared 'low carbon footprint' menu will be served in the candle-lit Pompadour Restaurant.

Night Out with the Lights Out
Arranged by Going Carbon Neutral Stirling, Smiling Jack's, Beanscene, The Imperial Restaurant and The Outback Bar and Grill will all switch to candle light for WWF's Earth Hour. Events prior to Earth Hour Night
24th March 2010 - 7pm
Queen Margaret University - Edinburgh are holding an Earth Hour Art Auction at the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh. A selection of original artwork will be offered for sale by auction. All artwork has been generously donated, mostly from professional and amateur artists.
Additional activities and entertainments include live chamber music, a raffola, adopt-an-animal stand, themed cocktails and the sale of crafts.
Places for this exciting event are limited. To guarantee your place, it is recommended that you purchase your tickets in advance.

You can become a quizmaster during Earth Hour and hold a candlelit Be Bright Quiz with your family and friends – or ask your local pub to host the quiz and raise funds for WWF.
The quiz is a great way to show how bright you are with the lights off – and raising money for Earth Hour is a bright way to help us protect people and wildlife threatened by climate change.
